The Fairfield County Veterans Affairs office works for veterans and/or their survivors to provide the assistance needed in applying for benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Hospitals, the State of South Carolina and local agencies to which they may be entitled. The Veterans Affairs office is here to help explain veterans benefits and guide veterans through the application and filing process. This includes service-connected disability, non-service pension, dependents' and survivors' benefits, burial benefits, healthcare, educational assistance, life insurance, home loans and others. Each benefit has its own eligibility requirements.
